Jennifer Gold - Clients Advisory Board Member

Jennifer Gold has over 20 years of experience in senior technology positions for the financial sector and currently serves as Vice President of Engineering at a global investment management firm. Ms. Gold is a trusted strategist and subject matter expert in cybersecurity, risk management, systems engineering & architecture, cloud technologies, incident response, and disaster recovery. She combines this with a personal passion for technology innovation, community volunteerism, patriotism, and a commitment to national security.
Previously, Ms. Gold was the Associate Vice President of Global Technology & Solutions at The Carlyle Group, where she was responsible for cybersecurity initiatives, global enterprise-wide infrastructure implementations, including the introduction of new technology and processes, technology refresh and re-design, cloud technology, business continuity, and disaster recovery. Her other work experience includes twelve years at Citigroup as a Systems Engineer and Architect, where she managed the technology infrastructure for Equities Trading and Citigroup Derivatives Markets, Inc.
Ms. Gold also founded Grayce Technology Solutions, Inc., a corporation that has provided a range of cybersecurity consulting services to both the public and private sectors.
In addition to her executive work, Ms. Gold is also the co-founder of UNION Cyber, a non-profit (501c3) organization that provides military and national security talent with cybersecurity training and job opportunities.
Ms. Gold serves as the IT Sector Chief and a Director on the Board of the InfraGard’s New York Metro Chapter, supporting the public-private partnership with the FBI. She is also a member of the Cyber Subcommittee for the Area Maritime Security Committee (AMSC) for the U.S. Coast Guard.
She is a member of several organizations, including the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA International), United States Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force (ECTF), Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO), High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), and the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR).
Ms. Gold recently received certification from The Global Cyber Institute in partnership with UCLA.
In 2018, she was honored with the Women’s History Award by the Greater NY Chamber of
Commerce for technology leadership and for creating cybersecurity job opportunities for NYC veterans. In 2018, she received an award from the NY State Comptroller for her contributions to Veterans Affairs. Ms. Gold also received a nomination for the 92Y Emily Rosenthal Extraordinary Women’s Award for exceptional contributions in education and in her community.
